Warehouse Project — Industrial Cooling Coating Pilot
Medley, Florida
- Application
- 2026-08-15
- Follow-up observation
- 2026-09-18
This pilot used an earlier experimental CoolCote/CoolCrete coating formulation. It is not independent verification of the final cement-free commercial CoolCote formulation.
An industrial warehouse exterior wall comparison of an experimental pilot coating, an uncoated control section, and a bright-white Behr paint section.
Dated Surface Measurements
| Surface | Pilot coating | Untreated control | Bright-white Behr |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exterior wall | 92.8°F | 115.3°F | 96.4°F |
| Interior wall surface | 90.4°F | 95.6°F | 91.2°F |
22.5°F
Lower exterior wall temperature vs. untreated control
3.6°F below the bright-white paint comparison during this observation.
5.2°F
Lower interior wall surface temperature vs. untreated control
0.8°F below the bright-white paint comparison during this observation.

These results are field measurements from an earlier experimental coating formulation under specific observation conditions. Surface temperature differences do not establish whole-building energy savings or guarantee future project performance.
Conditions & Measurement Context
September 18, 2026 (30-day follow-up): side-by-side infrared exterior and interior wall surface-temperature observations. Exterior values are three-spot FLIR means. Instrument model, calibration, emissivity settings, exact observation time, ambient temperature, and uncertainty documentation are awaiting company approval.
The pilot coating measured cooler than the untreated and bright-white paint comparison surfaces during this dated observation. The 30-day visit produced the largest observed differences: 22.5°F cooler outside and 5.2°F cooler inside versus the untreated control. No HVAC energy consumption was measured through these surface readings. Broader deployment recommendations require a defined assessment and documented measurement protocol.
